Crown's Centers of Excellence in Lancaster, Ohio is designed to support customers with services including technical consulting, training, troubleshooting, glass inspection facilities and spare parts management. The Center also serves as a focal point for composite and metal closure innovation.
Machine Development
CTS teams at Crown’s Center of Excellence work on-site to develop capping equipment and start up the line no matter how small or large the production volume. Line layout and production goals are carefully considered and the collaborative development process is designed to ensure that equipment delivers optimum results.
Glass Finish Specifications
Crown has created a glass finish specifications resource to enhance communication with customers and match composite and metal innovative closures to the glass neck finish being used to package a product. The reference guide contains glass finish specification drawings, process compatibility information, glass nomenclature, critical dimensions and finish reference charts.
