Crown Holdings Elects G. Fred DiBona, Jr. to Board of Directors
PHILADELPHIA, March 4 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Crown Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: CCK) (Crown) announced today that G. Fred DiBona, Jr., 53, has been elected to the Company's Board of Directors. Mr. DiBona is currently the President and Chief Executive Officer of Independence Blue Cross, Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Keystone Health Plan East, a wholly owned subsidiary of Independence Blue Cross and Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of AmeriHealth, Inc., a subsidiary health insurance company. The Board now has 12 members.
Mr. DiBona has demonstrated leadership in the Greater Philadelphia region's business, governmental and civic arenas for more than 25 years. Prior to joining Independence Blue Cross in 1990, Mr. DiBona held several positions of increasing responsibility and management roles for the City of Philadelphia Zoning Board of Adjustment, the Philadelphia Port Corporation and the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce. In 1987, Mr. DiBona founded Keystone Ventures, Inc., which has become Keystone Health Plan East, the region's largest and most successful health maintenance organization.

Mr. DiBona is a graduate of Davis and Elkins College and the Delaware School of Law.
