Crown Teams Up With Independent Beverage Corporation (IBC) to Offer Relief to Victims of Hurricane Katrina
600,000 Cans of Water Shipped to Devastated Area
PHILADELPHIA, Sept 19, 2005 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX News Network/ -- CROWN Cork & Seal USA, Inc., an affiliate of Crown Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: CCK) (Crown), has joined forces with Independent Beverage Corporation (IBC) to aid those affected by Hurricane Katrina. Approximately 600,000 cans of purified drinking water have been donated and shipped to Mississippi where local authorities and relief agencies are currently distributing them to disaster victims.
