Application under the Environmental Permitting (England and Wales) Regulations 2010

Crown Holdings Inc., also known in the UK as Crown Packaging Manufacturing UK Ltd, Woodston Industrial Estate, Shrewsbury Avenue, Peterborough, PE2 7LB has applied to Peterborough City Council for a permit to operate an installation for the production of aluminium beverage cans including surface treating substances, objects or products using organic solvents, in particular for dressing, printing, coating, degreasing, waterproofing, sizing, painting, cleaning or impregnating, in plant with a consumption capacity of more than 150kg per hour or more than 200 tonnes per year.

The application (EPAA206) has been placed on the public register held at: Peterborough Council Offices, Sand Martin House, Bittern Way, Fletton Quays, Peterborough, PE2 8TY and can be inspected free of charge during normal office hours. Any written comments on the application should be made to the Peterborough City Council by 30th January 2023. Any written comments will be placed on the public register unless they include a statement requesting that this is not done. If there is such a request the register itself will just include a note that representations have been made which are not on the register because of such a request.
